Dear Mom,
Hi! I got to go to Half Moon Bay, an R+R center on 12/31. I had a good, relaxing time. I tried to call you, but you weren’t home, and the answering machine wasn’t on, so I guess you were still in CA. I left a message on Jane’s machine instead. I hope you got to hear it. How was your visit to CA? I hope you had a good time with Jim + Kim. I keep getting letters and cards from people I don’t know, so I guess the Festival of the Trees gave me some good PR! Nothing much new here, except it is getting COLD, especially at night. Have you sent the long underwear yet? I need it! I got your Christmas card and the pictures - thanks! (Frank isn’t what I expected - the picture makes him look like an older David Helmstadter!) I got the clipping of the festival of the trees too. Well, I’ve got to go - tons of mail to answer. Question. Do we know any Jacksons from Albany, GA? Will explain when I call next. I LOVE YOU MOM!
