Dear Miss Ingels:
I am writing this letter to offer you a position in the Department of Textiles and Colothing of the College of Industrial Arts for the session of nine months, which will begin Tuesday, September 18, 1917, at a salary of one thousand dollars ($1000).
The faculty meeting previous to the opening of the regular session will be held on Saturday, September 15, at 10:00 a.m. in the Library room of the Administration Building. All members of the faculty are expected to be present at this meeting.
It is necessary for me to have your acceptance by not later than Wendesday, July 4. If you accept, kindly include in your letter of acceptance a statement as your education, traiing and experience, mentioning the degree you hold, when and from what university you obtained it, and also state your age.
I am ambitious to make the College serve, in the largest and most helpful way possible, the girls of Texas; and, for this reason, I desire teachers of good training and spirit. I hope you are position to accept this place with us for next year.
